Akiane - amazing child prodigy painter

We are Akiane's exclusive giclee print makers and enjoy working with this amazing and highly acclaimed 10 year old painter as seen on Oprah, CNN and more. Akiane is internationally recognized as an artistic prodigy of astonishing ability- perhaps the only prodigy over the last four centuries to have mastered the most difficult artform- realism. In preschool while other children were barely able to draw stick figures, Akiane was drawing stunning human faces. Akiane believes her artistic ability is a gift from God and she uses her "gift" to help and inspire others.

Nona Hengen - realism artist/writer/historian

The subject matter of her realistic paintings are the houses, the barns, the tractors, the horses, hills, and fields of that country. In her writing and in her art, her deep attachment to the land and to country life, coupled with her fine powers of observation, find expression in genuine re-creations infused with the life, the strength, the vigor, the loneliness, and the vastness of life in the country.

Joel Christopher Payne - mixed media artist

Joel is a renown 3D digital art professional and Film composer. His work has been featured in countless games, TV shows, films, and 3D magazines. His sound tracks have been used for Steven Spielberg, Stan Winston, Jim Henson productions and was recently used as teaser music for the Star Trek Voyagers finale episode. His career as an art director/composer enabled him to work with such companies as Intel, Microsoft, DreamWorks, Disney, Sony, Corel, JVC, Foundation-imaging, and Nintendo. Payne has Worked as an environment artist on Max Steal, Starship Troopers the 3d cartoon series, Titanic, Jurassic Park, Batman returns, Flintstones the Movie, Disney's Virtual Jungle Cruise and Atlantis.
Payne emerges as a collected painter of fine-art limited editions. His Artwork is unique in it's process making him a leader in this new medium. He first hand paints textured images, then applies them to 3D models, after extensive lighting and rendering of that image, he digitally hand paints even more details on top of the work. The image is then printed on a "giclee" canvas at www.gicleeart.com
This unique approach takes more then just tradition art media skills, but highly specialized technical ability as well, 3D lighting, mathematics, staging, photography and an ability to work in 3D, making this a true mixed media piece limited to a handful of artists who have mastered the bleeding edge of this emerging new art form. Considered the painter of "Believable Dreams," and capitalizing on his cinematic work history, Payne creates artwork reminiscent of dramatic film sets colored with smart tones of rich atmosphere, lighting and color. R. Edwards - photographer/artist

Truly unique photography by R. Edwards. The technique for creating his one-of-a-kind photographs has taken the artist 30 years to perfect. Because of this long-term, intense effort he has chosen to guard his technique closely. He does state, however, that his works are created by the camera and the brush. Each work is true photography, not digitally rendered or manipulated, and is created by hand. He has chosen to reproduce his works through giclee printing due to their potentially longer life and because his technique lends itself well to printing on canvas and other surfaces.
R. Edwards will be presenting series, or groupings of his art on this site. The first is the Ballet series. "These were shot on one day in a studio where the dancer performed her art almost unaware of me." This resulted in images that reveal spontaneous form and movement as it was captured on that day. Each work is a limited edition of 250.
Be looking for more series from R. Edwards. These will include "On the Street", "Wood and Water", "Landscapes", and more. His work has sold all over the U.S. through private galleries and specific commissions. And his work can be yours as well. Truly unique photography by R. Edwards.

Terry Lee - African wildlife artist

The wild beauty of African wildlife is depicted in the paintings of artist Terry Lee. Capturing his animals in a moment of time and in all of their majestic beauty, his impressionistic style, along with his magnificent sense of color, gives new meaning to Africa's spectacular scenery and wildlife.
Terry believes that traveling to Africa and seeing these animals in their native habitat helps him to see with "African Eyes". Terry feels that "I do my best to create a sense of energy and action. I capture emotional moments using color and light, sweeping brush strokes and bold swaths of color, drawing the eye into the scene. I want the viewer to feel the intense light and heat of the sun, creating atmosphere and mood.
Terry has created a truly unique style. It reflects a combination of the old masters and a lot of "Terry Lee" bringing a new energy to wildlife art. Terry's collectors experience a bold usage of color that is refreshingly different from anything they have ever seen. As one admirer quoted at a recent gallery showing. "You are a breath of fresh air in a world of sameness".
Terry Lee's work can be found in Galleries in Montana, Santa Fe, Aspen, Carmel, Portland and Idaho. Limited edition canvas giclee prints available online at www.gicleeart.com
