HOW TO SEND FILES BY FTP

On This Page:
FTP Overview
Guidelines

PC Users
Mac Users
FTP Client Software

Overview
Note- For best results, you should have a fast connection to the Internet such as a cable modem, DSL or T1 line.

FTP allows you to send large files directly to our server, thus bypassing the constraints of email.

Transferring files by FTP is as easy as "dragging and dropping" files from your computer to the server. Our server allows you send files without having to log in with user name and password- however, we are the only ones who can download and delete the file.

FTP Guidelines

A.) Send compressed files in formats such as .jpg, .tif with LZW, .zip or stuffit

B.) Please keep file sizes under 30 megs

C.) Once file upload has completed, send us an email at info@gicleeart.com to notify us that the file is there. We will then download it and reply by email that we received it.

D.) Be sure to include your name, file name, contact info, job instructions, etc. in the email.
